Overview

Tackle education inequality with our new Leading Trust Improvement programme.

This unique programme will help you to improve the quality of the education of your pupils with a focus on SEND.

You will:

  • Access the latest evidence base to help deepen your knowledge and use this to identify meaningful and informed solutions to improve SEND provision across your trust.
  • Explore SEND through the lens of school improvement.
  • Apply a practical framework to approach strategic priorities across your trust.
  • Develop knowledge and expertise that will help you identify the levers for change: the things that can make the biggest impact.
  • Create conditions for change within your trust driven by evidence and applied learning.
  • Build a leadership network, through structured inquiry and collaborative problem-solving with experts and other leaders as you engage with two trust visits.
  • Be part of unique leadership programme designed to be bold, innovate and contribute to the wider system by sharing your work.
  • A unique benefit of the programme is that you’ll also be able to nominate a colleague to join you for the launch event, trust visit and symposium event so that you can learn and drive change together.

Over 12 months the trust leadership programme will help you build your knowledge, problem solving approach and network, and equip you with the practical tools to increase your impact as a leader, where it matters.

How will I learn?

This programme has live, facilitated sessions enhanced by intersessional reading and short tasks.

The first cohort will start in June 2024.

Over 12 months, our Leading Trust Improvement: SEND includes:

  • One full-day conference.
  • Three sense-making sessions.
  • Two trust visits.
  • Two one-to-one implementation support sessions.
  • Direct support to write up your learning.
  • One symposium/graduation event.

Cost

How much does this programme cost?

For this first cohort, the programme is subsidised to £2,500* per person.

*Our philanthropic supporters have part-funded this programme to support Ambition’s mission to tackle education inequality by helping teachers and school leaders to keep getting better. Together, we’re shaping the future of education to give every child the best start in life.

Future cohorts of this programme will cost £6,000 per person.
